9 Armada Street, Plymouth

Direct Property Services team won the contract to partly demolish and rebuild a three storey building, designed specifically for students and working professionals

The building was used for many years as a warehous and the owners applied and were granted planning, but the original consent as was eventually scrapped. With the help of Jim and the team the owner re-applied with a new design to maximise the potential.

The quality and finish of this development was second to none, it was built on a compact site with special features such as oriel windows, a Sedum roof and with living habitat for ecology and solar panels.

This project was nominated by Plymouth City Council to receive an award but the owner decided not to pursue it. We are proud of this project and having maximised the site’s potential, the owner is similarly delighted.

Direct Property Services took just 9 months from start to finish to complete this project.
